Q: How does H.G. Wellington Capital Management differ from other investment managers?

A: We believe that the continuity of our portfolio management team and flexible approach to meeting needs lead to a close client relationship.

Q: How would you characterize your client base?

A: Our traditional base has been high-net-worth individuals and families. Today we also invest for international accounts, not-for-profits, foundations, trusts and endowments, and retirement accounts.

Q: Who makes the investment decisions?

A: All securities are approved after intensive in-house research by a group of senior portfolio managers. Individual portfolio managers then determine which of the securities should be placed in a given account.

Q: What is the firm's investment "style"? Do most portfolios hold the same securities?

A: We look for growth in every company we buy, but we are not wedded to a specific "style". Most portfolios hold a common list of high quality growth companies, yet each portfolio is custom-tailored with respect to the securities held and the equity/fixed income allocation.

Q: Does H.G. Wellington handle IRA accounts?

A: We manage IRA accounts, pension and profit sharing plans.

Q: Do you manage portfolios for income as well as for growth?

A: Income is a primary consideration of many accounts. Some are invested solely in good quality, high yielding bonds. Others are balanced between bonds and equities. The key is to seek growth both in principal and income.

Q: Is tax planning part of your management? Do you invest in tax-free municipal bonds?

A: Tax considerations are a major concern in every taxable account. We have a great deal of experience in managing municipal bond portfolios for clients desiring tax-free income.

Q: What is the fee schedule?

A: 1% per annum payable quarterly with a $5,000 per annum minimum. Larger accounts are discounted on a sliding scale.
